Wood Panel RFQ Checklist for Importers
Prepare a clearer OSB, MDF, particle board or plywood quotation request.
A complete RFQ helps suppliers compare the same requirement, reduces repeated questions and makes packing and shipment planning more accurate.
RFQ Details
Include these eight items.
Copy the checklist into your email, WhatsApp message or inquiry form.
1. Board type
OSB, MDF, particle board, plywood or a mixed product requirement.
2. Thickness and size
State millimetres, panel dimensions, tolerance or cutting requirement.
3. Grade and structure
OSB grade, MDF density, particle board type, plywood core and face/back requirement.
4. Surface and finish
Raw, sanded, melamine faced, veneer, color, texture or further processing plan.
5. Performance requirement
Moisture resistance, glue, emission grade, screw holding or application-specific requirement.
6. Quantity
Sheets, cubic metres, full container, trial order or repeat-order estimate.
7. Packing
Pallet, wrapping, straps, edge protection, labels and loading preference.
8. Destination
Country, destination port, requested Incoterm and target delivery timing.
Buyer note
Ask suppliers to quote the same specification.
Price comparisons are only useful when the product, grade, dimensions, surface, packing and shipping basis are aligned. Final requirements should be confirmed in writing before production.
